Through an Era of Uncertainty: China–Russia Economic and Trade Cooperation, Commercial Disputes, and Arbitration
by Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC)
As China–Russia commercial cooperation continues to deepen amid an increasingly complex global legal and business environment, companies are facing new challenges in structuring transactions, managing performance risks and resolving disputes across borders. This event will bring together business representatives, practitioners, arbitrators and arbitral institutions to examine how sanctions and anti-sanctions measures, as well as enforcement risks, are affecting China–Russia commerce. It will also explore practical ways for businesses to anticipate and mitigate disputes, including the drafting of effective arbitration clauses, the selection of appropriate arbitral institutions and seats, and the use of arbitration tools to protect legitimate interests, enhance commercial certainty and resolve disputes efficiently.
