Moscow City Center Walking Tour

During the Walking Tour, you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in Moscow’s history, its legends, the traditions of its residents, and the atmosphere of this vast metropolis.

Guests will walk through the historic heart of Moscow and see the Historical Museum, the Four Seasons Hotel Moscow (formerly the “Moscow” Hotel), the Bolshoi Theater, GUM, St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Spasskaya Tower, and Kitay-Gorod.

Next, guests will head to Old Arbat and learn:

• How one of the capital’s main streets was restored after the fire of 1812 and what was built there following the restoration;
• Which famous people lived and strolled here throughout different eras - Pushkin, Yesenin, Blok, the Tolstoy and Golitsyn families, and others;
• About the most significant events in these people’s lives that may have been influenced by this street and its residents;
• Where, both now and in the past, plays were staged that were renowned throughout the country;
• About the historic restaurants frequented by members of the bohemian community.
