The event will feature two panels:

— Obtaining Interim Measures in Support of Arbitration and Foreign Court Proceedings

This panel examines how interim and protective measures — freezing orders, asset attachments and preservation relief, can be obtained in support of arbitration and court proceedings. 

Speakers will compare the practical routes available through UAE onshore courts, the DIFC and ADGM Courts, and other key jurisdictions, sharing strategies and recent case experience for securing assets before or during a dispute.

— Cross-Border Insolvency: A Possible Roadmap for Russian Insolvency Practitioners Abroad

The second part of the discussion will focus on practical aspects of cross-border insolvency, with particular attention to the powers and limitations of Russian insolvency trustees appointed in bankruptcy proceedings where the debtor’s assets are located abroad.

Speakers will discuss recognition mechanisms, recent case law and strategic options for tracing, recognizing rights to and recovering assets outside Russia on behalf of the insolvency estate.
